Privacy policy

Read the TTDWN privacy policy for submitted links, uploaded media, temporary files, download measurements, support requests and data retention.

Links and uploaded media

Submitted links are sent to the relevant platform or processing provider to retrieve public media. TikTok video and photo parsing may use TikWM. Uploaded files are sent to the shared API for conversion. You do not need to create an account.

Temporary storage

Processing files and task results are temporary, with a default expiry of about 30 minutes after completion. Failed and cancelled tasks are cleaned up. Save your result promptly. These tools are not permanent file storage.

Optional download measurements

When enabled, first-party measurements count link checks, format selections and browser download handoffs by day, format and broad screen-size group. Event records do not include submitted links, post titles, filenames or user identifiers. Aggregate counts are retained for up to 90 days. A handoff is not confirmation that a file was saved to disk.

We also use PostHog (US Cloud) to measure page visits, tool parsing and downloads. It uses a random identifier in session storage, without account profiles, automatic click tracking or session recordings. Submitted links, media titles, filenames and URL query parameters are excluded. Analytics retention is managed in PostHog. A browser download handoff does not confirm saving to disk.

Support and service requests

Support form submissions are stored in the service’s support inbox for up to 90 days. The API uses request information such as IP addresses for temporary rate limiting. Contact support for a data or content concern.
